From melting makeup to filming in freezing temperatures, Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti talk about how they got into character during the production of “The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of The Penguin Smoking Tobacco in The Batman (2022) but was unsuccessful. However, for his own series, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user, with a preference for cigars. The DC Studios logo is set in a rainy alley in Gotham.

The Penguin is just fantastic
Everyone knows what a great actor Colin Farrell is, but here he is unrecognizable as The Penguin. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her nominated for some awards for her role in this. The biggest surprise was Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone.
I was wrong
I wasn’t too sure when I heard she was being nominated for this role, she’s a good actress but I didn’t think this role was for her. She’s just as good as Farrell in this and makes you believe Sofia Falcone is a true rival to The Penguin. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see her nominated for some awards for her role in this.
This is how DC does it
This isn’t your typical DC or Marvel show, this is a full-on gangster series. This series takes place in the underworld of a now semi-destroyed Gotham City and is a great continuation of Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
