Chronology
Retired Charles gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Michael Schur was inspired to create “A Man On the Inside” after watching the Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.” He says, “The Mole Agent” is powerful because it makes people of any age, ethnicity, or gender feel something very similar, and I would describe that feeling very loosely as, “I need to call my mom.” We tried to do something similar with our show’s tone: Basically, does our show contribute to the feeling of calling our moms?
How can you not appreciate Ted Danson
A legend, guys, like Tom Selleck’s mustache. Anyway, I found this show to be a jack of all trades.
I also found this show to be about dementia
Some very funny lines, two very attractive female characters who never screw up, and a great message about the bonds that form in life. Especially in the later stages when things really matter for the right reasons.
I definitely recommend this series and look forward to the second season
The recent loss of my father and his battle with this terrible disease made me feel more connected. However, as each episode progressed, I became more invested and found each character charming and lovable in their own unique way.
