Porky does this later in the scene as well
Chronology
Porky and Daffy are Earth’s only hope in the face of the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film released in theaters not to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. But when Porky and Petunia are tied up, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine still lowers them. this is surprising if I’m being completely honest here
Warner Bros decides not to make a stupid decision for once, instead of keeping their first animated Looney Tunes film shelved forever or canceled, they release their animated film on the big screen… Ok, so I watched this movie yesterday along with Joker 2 Folie a Deux (which I’ll talk about that movie in a different post) and I have some thoughts on it. Before I start the review, a few things first: For those who don’t know, I’m not a Looney Tunes fan, never have been and never will be. I have never been a fan of Looney Tunes in my entire life because the vast majority of the characters are annoying and unfunny (especially the popular ones) and their humor is lazy, uncreative, repetitive and pure cringe most of the time, very rarely have I found a short from the Looney Tunes library that I actually like and made laugh, and I consider the Looney Tunes cartoons to be the most overrated cartoons that do not deserve their popularity and I hate the Looney Tunes and the cartoon communities/fanbases that overpraise these cartoons when there are tons of other cartoons that deserve it and get upset if someone hates and criticizes the Looney Tunes for legitimate reasons that it makes them have major prejudices and double standards. So yeah, don’t act surprised when I fight back if you’re going to be a jerk to me, telling me that I have no childhood and/or have no good taste in humor just because I don’t dare like a popular cartoon that I found very overrated and unfunny. Considering this is Warner Bros.’ first big screen Looney Tunes animated movie (so depressing and confusing that Looney Tunes hadn’t had an animated movie released in theaters in over a century, like what was Warner Bros.
what do I think of this movie?
doing at the time?) I’m willing to give it a chance. I’m going to talk about the pros and cons of this movie. Also, this is a spoiler-free review, so I won’t spoil any major events of this movie. So… it’s okay… it’s certainly not the best Looney Tunes movie, but it’s definitely not the worst I’ve ever seen.
Let’s start with the positives, the pros
Voice Acting: What Looney Tunes is most consistent about is the voice acting, all of the voice actors/actresses were on point and on point. To match the tone of the characters’ emotions, Eric Bauza is perfect as Daffy Duck and to match the tone of how crazy this character is, for example.
