Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s younger brothers is the same one that Chewbacca’s family sees in the infamous Star Wars holiday special (1978).

Knowing that there will be a lot of hate directed at this series due to the ups and downs of recent Star Wars, I’m happy to say that’s a plus. So far…
Again, nothing new, but it’s still intriguing and I can’t wait to keep watching it
The first 2 episodes don’t break new ground, nor are they particularly original, but that doesn’t matter, because everything works well. The cast and their performances are great, the costumes and sets are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good.
It’s giving me strong Treasure Planet vibes
As someone who hasn’t enjoyed the recent Star Wars, Skeleton Crew surprised me. I hope anyone who’s even slightly interested, or even annoyed by the recent shows, gives it a shot.
