Chronology
Kung fu prodigy Li Fong was uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City. When a friend needed his help, Lee would enter karate competitions. Lee’s teacher, Mr. Han, enlisted the original Karate Boy, Daniel LaRusso, to help. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video featuring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, in which they announced that they were both returning for a new film, as well as a global casting call for the new Karate Boy.
