Set in Utopian Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart.. See the actors behind some of your favorite animated features and series, including Ella Purnell in "Arcane.". Fortiche Productions made a music video named "Get Jinxed" for Riot in 2013.
Riot was so impressed by the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took them several years to create. After the release of season one, Riot announced that there will be a second season and that it will take less time to produce.. EnemyWritten by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Robin Fredriksson, Mattias Larsson, Justin Tranter, J.I.D.
(as Destin Route).Performed by Imagine Dragons ft J.I.D.. In the cities of Piltover and Zaun there is unrest, Piltover the upper city literally looks down on and oppresses Zaun. We have gangs of thieves, rebels, steampunk Stormtroopers, magic melded with science.
This is serious stuff with great physical and "magic" fights. Also a tale of two sisters falling out and Scientist/Mages battling against the conservatism of the Council who fear the unleashing of uncontrollable powers. Directed by Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord, written by Christian Linke and Alex Yee.
9/10..
Need a lawyer? He runs his law firm out of his Lincoln and is ready to hit the gas. As he moves around Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing his personal life, which includes fatherhood and living with two ex-wives. Originally scheduled for a series commitment by CBS in 2020, it was canceled shortly before the first episode was filmed due to COVID.
Netflix has now picked up the series for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict. Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms on them. Personalized California license plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, yet all of Mickey’s license plates have at least eight. Ok, I just finished watching this show and I still don’t understand why people rated it so low.
I was very skeptical to watch this because of the low ratings and not so good reviews but I thought let’s try a few episodes and then decide. I ended up watching 6 episodes in one go. I saw the movie “The Lincoln Lawyer” and we all loved Matthew McConaughey so Manuel Garcia-Rulfo seemed miscast. I think he is also one of the reasons not enough people watch this show because he is not a big name but is actually good as “The Lincoln Lawyer”.
I liked his acting and will surely watch his other works since I don’t know him very well either. And as for the show, it has all the ingredients for a crime drama. The acting, the pacing of the show and the production, everything is good. If you like shows like BOSCH or other court shows, give it a try and you will like it.
It deserves more attention and love than it is getting. Some movies and shows receive unnecessary hate, and this show is one of them.
The family finds out they are not alone after moving into their new suburban home. Although the film received critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival, some viewers turned away due to its intensity, with one person saying, “I can’t handle this stress this late at night.” Referenced in Amanda the Jedi Show: NIGHT SWIM is Garbage | Explained (2024). This is a fantastic film. The actors are superb and the film really takes you into their world and immerses you in what is going on. I was pretty engrossed in the drama and suspense. The ending was haunting and stayed in the mind for a few days, which is pretty rare for a film. I think this will be a very popular film when it hits theaters. If for some reason it’s not popular, it will be popular years later and people will wonder why it wasn’t more well-known after its release. I would love to see this again, but only with a friend. Let’s see if they are as worried afterward as I was.
The series follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist whose work is based on exposing wrongdoings in long-respected institutions. The exceptionally talented Russian blue cat improvises all her actions and dialogue at Ravenscroft House.
In several episodes, Jonathan uses the same lens, a medium telephoto lens. Such a lens would not be able to focus on intimate subjects in a selfie with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine.
It was intriguing and mysterious for the first few episodes, but by the fifth episode I was like “Oh my God, stop it”. Catherine’s silence/constant interruptions as she tries to tell her side of the story seem like a plot device to keep the story moving.
Constant, detailed sex scenes are just ew. Literally pornographic.
Norbot (Reece Shearsmith) marks the greatest invention yet from the eccentric, cheese-loving Wallace (Ben Whitehead). It’s designed to do any kind of gardening task (or “gnome improvement”), much to the chagrin of Wallace’s canine companion, Gromit, who’s concerned that his pal has become too dependent on his inventions.
After his release from prison, Mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters. Sylvester Stallone’s first starring role in a television series.
The opening credit sequence shows various photographic and painted views, as well as Oklahoma landmarks imposed on the New York City landscape: A statue of the Sioux Indian Chief “Touch the Clouds”; wearing a War Bonnet and Bone Choker (breastplate) imposed on the Brooklyn BridgeGolden Driller Statue imposed on the Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch imposed on a major “Avenue” in Manhattan. In New York City, in the Borough of Manhattan, which are several numbered “Avenues”; which are crossed by smaller numbered streets..
Likeable and relatively deep characters, plausible plot, tolerable pacing are the driving forces behind this show. Stallone is good as the main protagonist, but I really like Andrea Savage and her character, very nice performance.
I really respected the fact that Stallone doesn’t try to look younger when his character, Dwight, honestly mentions his age and how it might affect his relationship with the younger woman. The cinematography and music are nothing to write home about, both are good enough to help keep the show going.
My review makes the show look pretty average, however I rate it 8/10 because it’s a solid entertainer, not a TV/Cinema masterpiece or a tour de force..
